Janvikas Samajik Sanstha (JVSS) is a distinguished non-governmental organization (NGO) that has been actively working since 1995 to bring about positive social transformation. Our mission revolves around empowering economically backward women, children, marginal farmers, landless individuals, agriculture workers, and migrating families. We focus on vital issues such as agriculture, health, education, employment, livelihood, and the environment.
As a non-religious, apolitical, and not-for-profit registered social enterprise, our values are deeply rooted in promoting social justice and equality. We strive to create an inclusive and just society where everyone has equal access to opportunities and resources.
Our dedication to making a lasting impact on communities has led us to develop robust rural infrastructure, enabling better access to water, energy, sanitation, shelter, and more. This has significantly improved the overall ease of living for the underprivileged.
At JVSS, we cherish the collaborative spirit that fuels our efforts. We work hand in hand with passionate volunteers, like-minded organizations, and compassionate supporters to drive meaningful change.
Our state-of-the-art training center, located in Kaij and sprawling over 28 guntha of land, serves as a hub for various training programs, workshops, and social events. With the capacity to accommodate up to 100 participants, we strive to equip individuals with the skills and knowledge needed to uplift their lives.

“Welcome to Janvikas Samajik Sanstha (JVSS), a journey that began in 1995 with a vision to create positive change in society. Our mission is to work relentlessly towards the advancement of socio-economic and educational development for economically backward women, children, marginal farmers, landless, agriculture workers, daily wage laborers, and migrating families.
At JVSS, we are committed to addressing various critical issues that affect the lives of the underprivileged. Our primary focus lies in areas like agriculture, health, education, employment, livelihood, and the environment. By empowering these communities and providing them with essential resources, we strive to transform the unjust structures of society.
Our organization stands strong on the principles of being non-religious, apolitical, and not-for-profit. We believe in creating an inclusive environment where everyone is given equal opportunities to thrive and grow.
Over the past 27 years, we have built a robust rural infrastructure that has improved access to water, energy, sanitation, shelter, and more. This has resulted in an overall enhancement of the ease of living for the communities we serve.
I am proud to say that JVSS is equipped with a state-of-the-art training center located at Kaij, spread over 28 guntha of land. This center can accommodate up to 100 participants at a time for various training programs, workshops, and social events.
